AutoFile Update:  The issue with AutoFile not importing files to Doc e Scan was resolved on December 14, 2017 at 3:00pm CST. Staff can now resume using AutoFile.

IT Service Advisory - 12/12/17

Issue:  Busy signal when accessing the voicemail system.

The IT Telephone Technician is currently working to resolve this issue. The voicemail system may need to be reset and will take approximately 5 minutes to reboot. Resetting the voicemail system will not affect incoming/outgoing calls.

If you have any issues after the system is reset, please contact the IT Help Desk at 501-3103.

Update: Unfortunately, CTC continues to experience document import issues with AutoFile.  We are working closely with SoftDocs support on full resolution.  As soon as all issues with AutoFile are resolved, we will send another update.  For now, please avoid using AutoFile, as rescans will likely be necessary.

Update:  The issue with AutoFile was resolved yesterday, December 5, at around 3:30 p.m. CST. However, items scanned between Friday evening, December 1, and yesterday before 3:30 p.m. will need to be rescanned.

IT Service Alert - 11/30/17

Activity:  AutoFile Upgrade

Start Date/Time:  Friday, December 1, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. CDT

Purpose:  To centrally update and then distribute a new AutoFile client.

Impact on Service Delivery:  AutoFile will become unavailable as clients are uninstalled and then redistributed throughout the weekend.

End Date/Time:  Monday, December 4, 2017, at 7:30 a.m. CDT

IT Service ADVISORY - 11/29/17

Issue:  If you received an email from Monika.Bender@ctcd.edu with the subject line “Checking In,” please disregard the message as it was sent to all in error.  This official CTC address has been checked and cleared by the IT Division. Anyone who replied to the email in question should not be negatively affected. If you blocked the above email address, you can unblock it by using the steps below.

You can unblock an email by selecting the ‘Home’ tab at the top of your Outlook window and clicking the ‘Junk’ button/drop-down list. From the list that appears, select ‘Junk E-mail Options…’ and another window will appear. Click the ‘Blocked Senders’ tab and select the email address you want to remove from this list. Click the ‘Remove’ button, and finally select ‘Ok’ when you are done removing addresses from the blocked list.
