Central Texas College will switch to summer hours starting the week of Friday, June 7. During the summer, many offices and departments will be closed every Friday until summer hours end, Monday, August 12, 2019.
***The IT Help Desk will only be available Monday -- Thursday during summer hours.

IT Service ADVISORY - 5/10/19

Issue:  The IT Division is aware that faculty members are experiencing issues with grade entry.  High levels of activity in the gradebook module are causing our systems to operate at capacity, which in turn is causing delays and slow response times.  We will continue to work to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

IT Service ALERT - 5/09/19

Activity:  Restarting Colleague listeners

Start Date/Time:  Thursday, May 09, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. CDT

Purpose:  To increase the number of users who can access Web Advisor. Currently, many users are unable to access Web Advisor due to the high volume of traffic it is experiencing at this time.

Impact on Service Delivery:  Colleague UI, Eagle Self Service, and Web Advisor will become unavailable during this short timeframe. Users should save their work and log off before the server is temporarily brought down. After the server is brought back up, users will need to log back in again.

IT Service ADVISORY - (Ongoing)

Microsoft released a security patch which has caused significant issues—including a substantial number of operating system failures— for more than a thousand workstations on our CTC campuses.  The scale of this incident has resulted in an overwhelming number of calls and trouble tickets.  We must ask for your patience as our desktop technicians respond to every reported issue as quickly as they possibly can. 

This issue is causing computers to remain in continuous update mode. If you are currently experiencing this issue (or know someone who is), please contact the IT Help Desk at extension 3103 or via email at help.desk@ctcd.edu.
