Service Notifications

Issue:  Remote personnel can change their CTC/Outlook/Active Directory password through Outlook Web Access/App (OWA).

***Please Note: When logging into OWA, users must sign in with the CTC domain name and their short name (e.g., ctcd\jdoe). Do NOT log in using your email account (e.g.,!

After logging in with your short name and old password, users will be prompted to change their password.
Passwords must be at least 16 characters long and include the following:

  • One upper case character
  • One lower case character
  • One number

Special characters (e.g., $, &, #) are NOT recommended at this time due to other logins not allowing special characters (Colleague and Eagle Self-Service).

Your new OWA password will be used from this point forward to log in to your CTC desktop, Etrieve, Outlook, and other services connected to your CTC/Active Directory account.

Personnel who use Eagle Self-Service or Colleague will need to log in with their username (CTC ID number or Colleague Username) and old password, and then create a new 16-character password for these systems.
***You CAN reuse the 16-character password created in OWA for these two services as well!
